Styling Rust Breeches

Fall is here and rust breeches are all the rave right now! Let me show you how I style my most worn breeches.

look 1

As featured on my Street to Stable series, this look seamlessly transitions you from the hustle and bustle of city living into the saddle. I paired a black tank top underneath a light navy blue cardigan. The navy blue lightens the whole look, which helps transitions your wardrobe from Summer to Autumn.

Look 2

I absolutely love sweaters and riding in them keeps you nice and cozy. I’m pairing my black sweater with the breeches for a high contrast look. Because this outfit is super casual, you can wear it anywhere! To see more details, visit my Street to Stable: Orange Pekoe post!

look 3

Navy and rust are such an amazing combo, especially if you’re not a huge fan of wearing black. I am wearing a ribbed navy sweater paired with a jean jacket for a laid-back feel. Because it the sweater is a boat-neck, I simply added a thick wool scarf to keep me warm when riding. This is one of my favourite city and stable looks!

Look 4

Having a solid bottom allows you to play around with patterns up top, and that’s exactly what I’m doing here. This sweater is from Tribal and I absolutely love it! Not only does it go with these rust breeches, but anything you could think of! This four season sweater will brighten any look, all while keeping you warm. The criss-cross on the back adds a little pizzaz when you’re walking, trotting, and cantering away. The jean jacket ties everything together for the Autumn temperatures, if you’re still a bit chilly add a cozy scarf!
