Fall Favourites | 2019
Cheers to all things cozy, crisp and rust! Fall is officially here (well it was awhile ago…) and as we enter into November, what better way to kick off the festive month than share with you some of my fall favourites?!
Sweater
This sweater is what I’ve been waiting for! The contrast piping adds style to your everyday barn look. The Contrast Crewneck is thick, but not bulky, ensuring that it will never compromise your performance! It’s cute, comfy, cozy and anti-pilling, what more can an equestrian look for in a sweater?
I paired my sweater with rust breeches for an all fall look! Not to mention, this is the perfect sweater to help transition you from the streets to the stables or vice versa! Pair the contrast sweater with dark wash jeans or with some dress pants, and you’re ready to go.
Lightweight Vest
What is light, easy to pack, and will take your fall wardrobe to a new level? This ‘EZ’ Packable Down Vest. This vest adds comfort and warmth all year round. I love being able to layer my vests underneath my jackets, because y’all know, Canada winters don’t joke around.
Whether you’re warming up or cooling down this vest will help insulate your body’s temperature, all while looking your best. I’m wearing it in the colour, Champagne and paired it with a brown sweater, plaid scarf and beige breeches!
Big Comfy Scarf
Cuddly and practical and everything in between. Meet your best friend this season, the Susie. This scarf is exceptionally soft and will keep you extra cozy during your fall routine from tacking up to cooling down. This scarf is also featured in the photos above!
In the city, I love pairing this scarf with a vest or jean jacket for some extra warmth on those cooler days. You all know I’m obsessed with scarves, the Susie is no exception!

‘Invigorating, cleansing and emotionally grounding’, this candle will give you all of the feels this fall! As the leaves start changing, the temperatures drop and the clouds roll in, you’ll find that you are instantly warmed through the scent of this candle. I love lighting it when I’m drinking my afternoon tea on my days home from work, or during the evenings when I’m relaxing and catching up on the news.
hand cream
We don’t give our hands enough credit for what they do, especially as equestrians! Day in and day out, we use our hands 24/7! With that being said, I usually hate moisturizing my hands because of that greasy feeling, making everything I touch instantly slip out of my hands.
Unlike most hand creams, Equilibre Cosmetics hand cream is called ‘Firm Grip’ and for good reason. This hand cream doesn’t leave any greasy feeling once absorbed and smells amazing. It’s definitely a must for the cooler weather- I bring this everywhere I go!
